Cycling is like life. Cycling with no goal is meaningless. What meaning is there cycling in circles? Or living aimlessly? Meaning comes from direction and destination. Join me in my life's journey on a mountain bike :)

Bike doctors

To Hill Street, 35 km. Breakfast in the city with AF, MM and DC. AF is a bike "doctor"; ask him anything about bicycles and biking. MM is a doctor on a bike; he says my butt sores are follicle infection caused by friction. AF takes us to the city via what he calls "urban off-road" (also known as "pedestrian mode" in Dave Glowacz's book Urban bikers tricks and tips). The route is exotic, taking us through graffiti covered residential neighbourhoods and rustic roads that look like a farm road in a post card. Ride is marred by the usual Singapore drivers; a car from a side road almost whacks me. Same thing almost happens to DC; perhaps the driver is admiring her soft toys on her stem and saddle.
